Rama Letchuman, MD

Dr. Rama Letchuman completed his High School in Brisbane, Queensland and received his Undergraduate Degree from the University of Queensland, Australia. He completed a Master of Science Degree at Washington University in St. Louis. He then studied at the University of Missouri-School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri where he graduated with a Doctor of Medicine Degree with honors. He completed his Internship at the University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics. Subsequently he went on to do his Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Rochester, Minnesota. He further specialized in the field of Interventional Pain Management by completing a Fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.

He is a member of the Shreveport Medical Society, Louisiana State Medical Society, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is double Board Certified in both Physical Medicine and Pain Medicine.

Dr. Letchuman is an Interventional Pain Management specialist whose interests include Evaluation and Management of Spinal and Peripheral Musculoskeletal Disorders.

He performs the full spectrum of Fluoroscopic Guided Interventional Pain Management Procedures, Spinal and Peripheral Injections, Radiofrequency Rhizotomies, Spinal Cord Stimulator Procedures and Discograms.

Dr. Letchuman moved to Shreveport, Louisiana to join the Musculoskeletal Institute of Louisiana in 2005. He lives with his wife, Santhi, and 4 sons.
