“Inpatient” means that the procedure requires the patient to be admitted to the hospital, primarily so that he or she can be closely monitored during the procedure and afterwards, during recovery. Your length of stay in the hospital varies depending on your progress and your physician’s protocol. Your physician, the Specialists Case Management Team, Nursing Staff and Physical Therapy Team will work with you and your family to ensure the safest and most amenable discharge plan back home.
